[Announcement] Margaret Tillman: Overseas Chinese in Cuba and the Struggle for the Right of Assembly, 1860-1874. Facebook


r. Margaret Tillman, an American 2017-2018 Fulbright Scholar, will give a speech at Academia Sinica in April. Please see the poster attached. Admission is free. Dr. Tillman received her Ph.D. degree in History at University of California, Berkeley. She is an Assistant Professor at Purdue University and receives several significant awards including Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation Dissertation Grant (2012-13), Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Grant (2010-2011), 985 Research Grant, National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies (2010), Center for Chinese Studies Research Grant (2007), and Fulbright Scholar Institute of International Education Grant (2003-2004).
