He also taught several graduate classes, leading his students from critiquing research papers to generating research ideas. Even in the time of the pandemic, with the help of technology, academic exchange and knowledge building continue. A graduate of Michigan State University, his research focuses on entertainment and persuasive applications of interactive media, such as video games, augmented and virtual reality, and social media.
