The Foundation for Scholarly Exchange is announcing an opening for a Deputy Director of the Foundation.

With the ongoing growth of the Fulbright program in Taiwan (approaching 350 US grantees per year), the Board of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (the Fulbright commission in Taiwan) has approved the creation of a Deputy Director position, to assist the Executive Director in strategic planning, in managing the US side of the program (US grantees in Taiwan), and standing in for the Executive Director when he is outside the office due to domestic and international travel and extended leaves of absence. This is a full-time position, based at our Taipei office near the Ximen metro station.
