Call for Submissions: Non-Academic Professional Grant-MOC category

Non-Academic Professional Grant-MOC category is now open for submissions. Added into Non-Academic Professional Grants as MOC category, this grant is a collaboration of the Ministry of Culture andFulbright Taiwan set up in 2018, providing local arts and cultural professionals the opportunities for further studies in the U.S. Three candidates will be selected.

Fulbright Taiwan is in charge of supervising the project and assisting grantees in organizing trips and visa applications, including dependents. Grantees will be conducting 3 months of further studies from August 2021 to August 2022. The Ministry of Culture will be sponsoring living expenses, research allowance, and travel allowance.

Non-Academic Professional Grant-MOC category was founded in 2018 and has awarded six grantees to date including Li-Ying Chang ( project manager of Spring, River Performing Arts Troupe), Jia-Li Su (tour guide of National Palace Museum), Liang-Bin Tsao (Founder of Light box Photo Library), Sung-Ying Lu (Specialist of Bureau of Cultural Heritage, MOC), Shiu-Ping Wang (independent producer), Feng-Chih Tsou (Director of Programming & Planning Department, National Theater & Concert Hall), who are experts in the fields of theater, exhibition, performing arts, and photography. The research topics include arts and business cooperation, media programming, art appreciation, open culture, and tour guide presentation project.

2011 Non-Academic Professional Grant-MOC category’s submission deadline will be October 31st. If you are interested in improving your skills as an arts administrator in arts management, policy development, international marketing, and copyright, don’t hesitate to apply!
