Executive Director of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan) Visited Penghu County to Promote International Exchange

Dr. Randall Nadeau, the Executive Director of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan) visited Penghu on August 28th. Lai Feng-wei, the county magistrate, shared that Penghu was awarded the Excellence Award in National Marine Education. Magistrate Lai and Director Nadeau had discussions about English education policy.

The Foundation for Scholarly Exchange is responsible for Fulbright Taiwan Programs, cooperating with the U.S. State Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education to strengthen exchanges between the U.S. and Taiwan in higher education, and to promote English learning in then counties and cities across Taiwan.

The Education Office of Penghu County hopes to partner with Dr. Randall Nadeau, introduce excellent American English teaching resources to Penghu, give training to English teachers, jointly organize international English life camps, and provide information on educational exchange in the U.S. to teachers and students in Penghu with an eye on expanding international communication.
